I’m Meredith Brooklyn, a designer and sewist based in Lewes, East Sussex. I make one-of-a-kind pieces from curated and vintage textiles. Repurposed and reimagined – sustainable fashion at its finest. In November 2024 I co-founded the first Lewes Christmas Market. Set in the heart of historic Lewes, we welcomed hundreds of Christmas shoppers ready to kick off the festive season with mulled wine, minced pies and a mooch around our 15 stall holders. Makers and artists from in and around our beautiful town showcased their collections. From jewellery to antiques and handbags, sequins, quilts and candles, we had it all. Look out for more events in the works for 2025!
Made to Order & Wholesale
Each piece I make is one of a kind. Or one of a very limited edition, like my mummy & baby matching sets. If you spot something you like or want to work on a special bespoke piece with me, get in touch. I’ve worked with brides to make bespoke gowns and families for matching floral sets – down to the matching scrunchies! All fabrics I use are vintage or reclaimed to create beautiful pieces that don’t cost the earth.
